Before we started The Pet Bestie, we were in your shoes. Like every pet parent, we were searching for care we could count on. Someone who showed up when they said they would. Who communicated before we had to ask. Who paid attention to the regular routines and the little details.
Your pet deserves a professional who shows up for them consistently, not just because it’s their job, but because they care. And you — yes, you! — deserve to go about your day without checking your phone constantly, wondering how things are going back home.

Animals have been a steady presence in my life as long as I can remember.
It started with Bailey, my first dog. My appreciation for the special role that pets play in our lives deepened when I unexpectedly lost my first cat Luna. I later adopted two more cats, and these days I’m happily outnumbered by three feline roommates.
I spent years working in operations and administration, including seven years at Stanford University. But after a layoff, I found myself at a crossroads. For the first time in a long time, I had the space to ask what kind of work I wanted to build my life around. What I kept coming back to was the work I was already doing on the side: caring for pets and creating the kind of dependable experience that allowed pet parents like me to actually relax. So I made it official!
If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be running my own pet care biz, I probably would have laughed. My path here wasn’t exactly linear, but looking back, it makes perfect sense. This work combines so many things I value, and I feel grateful to get to put them toward something I love every day!
